Spring Clean for Walton

The Great British Spring Clean was completed in Walton on Saturday 2nd April when volunteers gathered in Lower Walton to take part in a parish wide litter pick. The event was coordinated through Walton Parish Litter Network and coordinated by Cllr Amanda Bowles. In just under 3 hours, twelve sacks were filled with litter from across the parish including along dual carriage way, around Lower Walton, Higher Walton village, Mill Lane, Runcorn Road and Hollyhedge Lane. Thanks to everyone involved. We are aiming to repeat this again soon so that between us we can keep Walton tidy for the benefit of everyone one in our community.
