External Audit

Every year the parish council submits its accounts as a form called the Annual Governance and Accountability Return. An auditor appointed by the government then looks at the accounts and makes a decision on whether it judges that the council has carried out its financial and governance affairs lawfully. The auditor has now made this judgement and there are no matters for note. The paperwork that has been issued is available here and will be displayed on the parish noticeboards.
